Event Background
Our weekly Saturday Classic brings together players of all ages and skill levels for a friendly yet competitive environment. Whether you’re a new player, returning enthusiast, or rated competitor, you’ll find a welcoming and challenging atmosphere.
This is a single-day, 4-round tournament with a time control of Game in 40 minutes with a 5-second increment (G/40 + 5). A United States Chess Federation (USCF) membership is required to participate, and players can join or renew onsite. Please bring a chess set and clock if possible—limited equipment is available.
