Come be part of a special evening of chess and community support! This simultaneous exhibition (Simul) is both a fun chess event and a fundraiser to help Colorado’s own FIDE Master Gunnar Andersen as he pursues his dream of becoming an International Master (IM). Gunnar will represent Colorado on the international stage this January, and your participation helps make that journey possible.
Gunnar will take on multiple challengers at once in an exciting display of skill and stamina. The event is open to all players — no USCF membership required. Whether you’re a casual player or a seasoned competitor, this is your chance to face a master while supporting one of Colorado’s top talents.
🎯 Purpose:All proceeds from this event go toward helping Gunnar Andersen compete internationally in his quest to earn the International Master title.
