The Wednesday Night Classic at Strategic Minds Chess Academy is a friendly yet competitive weekly tournament designed for players of all ages and skill levels. This month-long event begins on the first Wednesday of each month and concludes on the final Wednesday, with one game played each week.

Our weekly Saturday Classic brings together players of all ages and skill levels for a friendly yet competitive environment. Whether you’re a new player, returning enthusiast, or rated competitor, you’ll find a welcoming and challenging atmosphere.
This is a single-day, 3-round tournament with a time control of Game in 60 minutes with a 15-second increment (G/60 +15).A United States Chess Federation (USCF) membership is required to participate, and players can join or renew onsite.Please bring a chess set and clock if possible—limited equipment is available.
